EATC install?

Can the automatic temperature control unit be installed in a st that came with the manual? What would need to be changed/modified? I've seen them in mounties and explorers, but not in a sport trac, could they be as easy as bolting on the parts pulled from an explorer or mountie with it? What parts would be needed?

Kinda really want one, love driving my grandparents gran marquis with that unit, saw the same/similar one in a picture in a stereo install thread, and the though crossed my mind that maybe I could put one in my 01.

It would require swapping out the whole HVAC system from one from a Gen 2 Explorer IF that's even possible. It's not as simple as just swapping the controls, AFAIK. Wouldn't be worth that to me, IMO.
