So eBay has intake manifolds for only $98 that reference the Dorman part number. Does anyone have experience with these? Are they in fact Dorman product? It’s all out of China anyway.

If it was made with the same molds in the same factory as the Dorman product then it is a good deal for everyone but Dorman.

I’ll be the first Guinea pig apparently. My thought is that it’s the exact same as Dorman.

Looks to be identical. There is a seller with multiple accounts, I found 2 in NJ and 1 in CA. Makes me wonder if he has someone in China at the factory shipping them to him here in the USA? I ran into a similar scenario but with patio furniture. Stuff was made in China and shipped here to be assembled, and cushions sewn. The guy took advantage of immigrants from China, Slave labor sweat shop.

I’ve run into it before, where a Chinese business will hold an American address. Almost always Ca./NY/NJ. I believe they do this to gain orders as people think the item is close. However, the item is still shipped via China.

So while eBay will say 2-3 days, it will actually take 8. Ive complained to eBay before, as I’d ordered with time to deliver in mind and not price, only to have it take two weeks.

I wouldn t take the risk to buy cheap "not know who has built it" part like an intakt manifold. I bought mine at Rockauto from Dorman and it works fine since a year now. Rockauto is perfect when it comes to problems with a part, they send a new part or you get your money back. that s worth to spend a few bucks more
