I'm on my 2nd set of Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos and am well overdue for replacement. I wasn't impressed with the treadwear but I loved the grip on these. I'm not looking to spend that much on a set of tires right now though.
Anyway, I do mostly highway driving, with the occasional use in a few inches of snow (they never plow here) and occasional use on unmaintained gravel/dirt roads. So I don't need anything real aggressive but perhaps a little more bite than I imagine the Hankook H727s have (based on tread pattern).
Anyone have the Hankooks that can comment or can recommend another tire in that price range? (~$400-450 for a set of 4 shipped)
* Edit: Looked at these also: Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S ... opinions? I've read the sidewalls are a bit bitter on the Yokos vs Hankooks, which is of concern since I drive my Mountaineer like I stole it down the empty back country roads.
