ECX Chapter in Michigan??

Has anyone thought of making an ECX Chapter in Michigan?? I know there are quite a few of us here that would probably be interested.

You know.....between my home, and work(about 45 mins), I see soooo many explorers..many that are beefed up..and just wonder if they know about this site. We could get a big run going if all these guys knew. I think I will have to get one of those explorer4x4.com stickers so that more people in the area learn of this site and then we can all get together. I don't know if its me or not..but it almost seems like 1 in 5 vehicles....is an explorer.

I would have to agree with you... Southeast MI is, by far, Ford country! Everybody's got one! Very few foreign cars. I live in a condo complex with 200 units, and I can count the number of foreign cars in the entire parking lot on one hand. Now you head out east or out west to the coasts, and it's the exact opposite... you can count the domestics on one hand.

I'm game for the club... but can I stay in when Ford finally gives me the rest of my money for my lemon Ex?

Hey man i've been thinking of trying to start an Explorer group up here, but not many people respond. i am planning trips to Silver Lake this summer and would like anyone ot join me that can. The first run will be Saturday April 6th. The second will be Saturday April 27th. I go home on the 28th (back to Illinois) so I figure i'll at least get 2 runs in before I have to go home. I'll pop back up throught the summer for more fun. i'm making a thread about these 2 runs I'm planning. let me know if anyone is interested. For those of you that don;t know, Silver Lake is a huge sand dune ORV park right on Lk Michigan. i am in Grand Rapids and it is about an hour or so northwest from here.
