- 2004 Eddie Bauer explorer
I am stuck. Really my seat is. I have a 2004 Eddie Bauer explorer. The driver seat quit moving and keeps blowing fuses when I try to use the controls. I have had the seat out every thing looks perfect. Wires are in tact, tracks are clear, etc. when I try the position switch I can hear it clicking in the connectors that connect to the chip board. I assumed the motor was bad so I found another 2004 with a seat that worked and put it in mine, but the same thing happened. I am convinced it is something with the vehicle itself. Is there any hope for me? Is there another fuse or relay elsewhere (maybe under the hood) besides the # 30 amp inside the vehicle that may be bad? Again, I hear it clicking when I use the switches but no movement with the current seat or the replacement one. I would really appreciate any feedback. I am traveling in 2 weeks and have to get it resolved.
