Eddie bauer message center swap

Hello all,
i own a 99 explorer xlt 4x4 with a 4.0l ovh
let me start by saying my gf crashed my truck, (wasnt happy) but while i was in the junk yard jacking a bunch of parts of an eddie bauer edition of the same year i noticed the eddie bauer message center. i was wondering if it was at all possible to wire it into my existing harness and get it to work/work somewhat?

take it easy on me.im 18 i love this forum and i use it almost every day but this is my first post. im on my way to ITT soon and i think im very smart mechanically. but i dont know much about wireing just yet.

It is possible, but it requires a fair bit of wiring, and adding some sensors. Not plug and play. A dew have done it, not a lot though. There is a write-up in here somewhere...

it will take some time to do however. it took me about 8 to 10 hours, and joe has seen it in person. then again, i suck at wiring.

Thank you thats exactly what i wanted.
It reads the range and miles till empty off the "fuel flow wire" correct?
