Eddie The Explorer - Needs a Good Home

Dear old Eddie has failed his MOT – levelling suspension has gone and brake pipes need replacing.

But he still lives and runs.

Repairs would cost more than he’s worth but I can’t bear to scrap him so I am going to put Eddie onto Ebay - but thought somebody on this forum might like to make me an offer first.

Engine and gearbox are fine – car runs and is driveable – but not legal

R Reg 4.0 V6 Petrol Auto

Mileage 144436

Sun roof Motor is temperamental
Indicator stalk doesn’t work
Levelling suspension failed on left rear
brake pipes corroded
Bodywork OK
small spots on chrome
2 front tyres nearly new tread
2 rear tyres OK

No MOT, No TAX

Will need picking up from Devon TQ13 9

Make me an offer more than the scrap value and you can have him

its a shame as it wouldnt cost much to repair if you knew a mechanic friend whod do it cash in hand for a couple of hundred quid as the parts are fairly cheap ,anyway sorry to hear it failed ,richard

kin hell that didnt stay on here long,that was just round the corner so to speak from my family aswell,went to work came home and it had been on and been sold on ebay already,dam could well have used that.
