Anyone have any comparisons or point me to a sight that does. Reflex are about half the cost of IAS, wondering if you get what you pay for? Thanks in advance.
I've heard great things about the IAS shocks. But at double the price, I opted for Monroe reflex shocks. The inertia dampening system works the same, But it's technological application is different. Same idea they just went about it differently. I love my monroes. From the moment I put them on the bounce was gone. The ride is a bit stiffer but it's an improvement if you ask me. Also you notice a huge reduction in body roll. Monroe seems to be pretty confident in their new product as well. They have revoked the lifetime warranty on the sesnatrac and their heavy duty line of shocks. They now only offer lifetime replacement for the Reflex. My local mechanic told me they are slowly phasing out their other product lines and will soon be releasing new product lines that use the reflex technology. Your best bet is to see if you can find someone in your area who already has em and try em out. One other thing I heard about is a $100 rebate that monroe will be offering soon when you buy a set of four. That means you can get a set of four new shocks for about $150. One third the price of IAS.
