EGR FLow

Last friday I was driving when the CE light came on. I took it to advanced auto parts and borrowed their diagnostic tool. It came back with DTC PO401 EGR Flow Insufficient. The guy there told me it could be anything from an exhaust leak to a bad EGR and everything betwen like hoses and gaskets. Has anyone had this happen to thim and what was your fix?

I had that problem with my '00 and I replaced the EGR valve and the connecting tube. That wasn't it so I replaced the dpfe sensor and that fixed it. Make sure to disconnect the battery to reset the computer whenever you are replacing parts that may be causing a cel code.
