Im in the process of installing a set of Torgue Monster headers on my mountaineer because i have had an exhaust leak for a while off my exhaust manifolds. After taking out the passenger side header i found that the EGR valve snapped and now i need to replace it ASAP. I was wondering if anyone knew if Ford dealerships carry the EGR valve or do i have to special order it. Also if i cant get one before sunday is it ok if i just cap the hole for a week. Any info will be helpfull.

cap it. In order to do do you'll have to take all the EGR off so you can cap the intake part too. (I have been running like this for almost a year)

I know the tubes get replaced a lot so chances are they'll have it in stock locally (in Abany, NY at least :D ). Plus, you could just plug it and deal with a check engine light (maybe) until you get a new one.

The headers are sweeeeet, aren't they? :D
