Egr Valve Position Sensor same as DPFE?

After pulling code P1400 and searching around to see that it was most likely the DPFE, I have a quick clarifying question. Is the DPFE the same as the Egr Valve Position Sensor? The guy at Advance Auto didnt know, and I wanted to make sure before I purchased. Thanks in advance!

Yes it is. There's only 1 sensor in the EGR system. Make sure to check the rubber hoses for cracks/leaks before spending the money on the sensor.

The hoses are not rubber, they're silicone, so don't try to replace them with plain rubber. More info about my EGR/DPFE experience here:
