EGR Valve Price

well, turns out i need a new EGR Valve...whats the going price on these? i read through some posts and have read that it tends to be a bit pricey a $100 or so? i found some on advanced auto parts for about $40. so with such a wide price difference...is this the right part im looking for? the link is below...

Personally, I get a little tense over "unbranded" parts, especially when the price seems to good to be true (though I don't know US pricing on EGR valves).

I'd recommend going with the Ford valve. If you find it necessary to go with an aftermarket piece, I've had my best luck with Blue Streak EGRs (Standard Motor Products).

All of the "white box" EGRs I have been coerced into trying feature poor "timing", sticking and/or leaking pintles and a host of other problems.

Spend the money - that way you only cry once...
