This isn't so much a quick fix as a bodge, but it does work.
The drivers side electric lumbar support on my Ex had stopped working. It seems the valve to release the air is also part of the switch, and the spring or something broke inside it.
I had the side panel off the seat (a few screws - easy with the seat on high) and fiddled with the switch, got it working again, but then it stopped a month later.
Finally I pulled the switch off again, pulled the plastic air pipes off, blew down them as you would to inflate a balloon, stuck insulation tape over the end and rammed them back onto the switch.
Granted, I can't adjust it, but too much lumbar is better than too little and it's much more comfortable than before!
