Lumbar support

2005 Explorer. Driver's side lumbar support broke. The knob just turns. Any suggestions what might be causing it?

Join the club, brother. Mine broke about a month or so ago. I talked with a tech at Ford, and he said there's a little cable driven wedge/worm gear setup in there, and it gets stripped out. He told me that it's not a big deal to do, and he's done several already. I don't have the patience to mess with it, so I'll probably take it over to the Ford dealership and have it done some day. I usually have the lumbar all the way relaxed as it is, so it doesn't really bother me that much.
