Hello. Love this site...... just saying. Ok, I have some accesory lighting that I am setting up, that does not need to be on when the vehicle is off. I have all of this wired to a switchbox from galls, and run perfectly. Heres the problem: Since it is directly connected to the battery, it is always powered on. I would like to hook it up somewhere, that only turns on when the vehicle is turned on. How do I do this? I was thinking the under hood power distibution center. It is a 99. Any thoughts?

Run a relay from your accessory (Ignition) wire on your radio, it will only be hot when the key is on.

I would be afraid of burning up something. The switchbox is a 5 switch system, which has 5 seperate switches with fuses rated at 20A. Will this not be too much juice coming off of the radio?

The power from the accesory wire will only turn the relay on. Hook the input to the relay up to the battery

Another dumb question, where do I attach the relay? The power distribution box is full, there is no more room for a relay.
