2002 Explorer XLT 4x4...
Has new Battery and Alternator...
1- 4X4 Lights Flash on/off...
-Have tried resetting battery multiple times.
-Sometimes turning the key on/off 8 times while holding the 4x4 high button will kick it in high. Recently, kicked in 4x4 while driving down the interstate. Pulled over and tried to disengage. Vehicle would not start up for some time afterwards. Unplugged the module(behind glove box) once it kicked out of 4x4. Fired up fine since.
- All my connections appear to be clean on the T-Case?.
-New tires and are the same as stock size.
Could it be my HALL sensors? Module?
2-Dome light up front wouldn't work for about 2 weeks(this time). Now its back on and working as we speak.
3- Occasionally the wipers will just come on. Has currently only happened a few times.
4- Sometimes when setting alarm, the alarm will sound.
- Recently I had to wire the front passenger door so that it thought the door was closed at all times(temporary fix for door ajar switch?).
5- Most of the times when using key fob or door panel lock switches, not all doors will lock. Most of the time it's the 2 front doors won't lock but the back 3 do. Occasionally none of them will or they all will. So I have to manually lock them most of the time.
6- Not confirmed... My wife said that the RPMs were up and down a few times on her way home couple days ago. Assuming like a surge or vehicle cutting out. Yet again this one isn't confirmed as it only has happened once.
Could all these issues be related? Like the Main Computer? or shorted/broken wiring possibly in the driver door?(I believe most these things runs through the driver door)
