I have a 1994 Ford Explorer Limited with an Electrical problem. When I shut the doors the interior lights stay on. I had a repair shop change all the door switches and the head light switch but the problem is still there. Can anyone help? Thanks

You got ripped off. :( Try closing all the doors and deck lid. Then one by one depress the door light switch on each door and rear hatch.

When the lights go out you found the problem. Just a little electrical tape and a penny should fix it.

stupid question but i have to ask since ive seen it happen

are you sure the dimmer switch isnt turned all the way up, forcing the dome lights on?

Welcome to this forum! That theory about the dome light switch makes sense if the problem occured suddenly. Did you check the one on the hatch? This might have been over looked. You could pull out the bulb in the mean time to prevent the battery from getting drained.

If that repair shop really did all that work, and they still couldn't fix it, find another repair shop!

That is the first thing to check. With the doors closed, rotate the headlamp switch. Do the dome lights go out?
