electrical problem?

i have this annoying intermittent problem.

It seems it goes back and forth. My head unit will cut off and come back on, sometimes a few minutes later, sometimes a few days later.

The same is happening to my horn. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Not sure how a wire could ahve come loose. Can it be faulty fuse?

bump...anyone? I have inspection this month so i need this damn horn working..
my luck it will work until the dude tests it

It seems like there is a "spring" ground behind the steering wheel that I hear about occasionally. It stops making a good connection. I have occasionally seen fuses fail in such a way that will intermittently make contact. Wouldn't hurt to check the fuses. Beyond that, I don't have any other ideas beyond tracing the circuits.
