electrical problems

have a 2000 ranger,no power to fuel pump. traced it to connector under drivers side of cab. can anyone tell which pin location to check? can't get plug apart to tell which wires go where. thing was filled with water when i took it apart.

Water in this connector is fairly common on 99~2003 Rangers. Packing the connector with dielectric grease on reassembly should help keep most of the water and road salt away from the pins.

pink/black (pin 6) is fuel pump power

Note:
pink/black = pink wire with black stripe
(do not confuse with the black/pink wire in the same connector!)
