hey everybody ive been having problems with my lights. my reverse lights dont work, my dome light front and rear stay on, the interior door lights stay on and my dash lights went out. now what ive done to fix the problem, i bought a new head light switch didnt fix the problem i noticed the wiring harness for the head light switch had a burnt socket so i went to the junkyard and found the harness and rewired it, still no difference does anybody have any ideas. any ideas will be helpful

I just moved your thread into the correct forum. Maybe someone here has an idea what's going on. Personally, I'm stumped. I haven't heard of such a wide range of electrical problems before.

Look at your door switches for the interior lights. You may have a short in any of them. Check the connectors too. The reverse lights may be burnt out but i assume you checked the bulbs already. Most likely the switch in the transmission is bad.

As for the dash lights, Check for any other damaged wiring or damage to the printed circut on the back of the gauge cluster. Check fuses and make certain you rewired the switch harness correctly. I have made simple mistakes and was certain i did the job correctly only to find i had wires crossed.

Good luck and let us know what happens.
