do what i did add a motorcycle battery lol its small enough to go behind the rear seat and it really does help and do the big 4 ! the 4th wire is a negative wire from the ground directly at the alternator to the battery ...check this install vid i did on my 97 explorer .... might help you a bit

by the way im running a soundstream tx1.2600d at 1.5 ohms at the moment with 6 12" dual 4 ohm subwoofers at around 1800 watts rms plus a cerwin vega400.4 for mids and highs and my voltage only drops to 13.4 when slamming the hell out of it .... without the mini battery and big 4 it dropped to 11 volts so keep that in mind

I know that there are gel cell batterys like Optimas that exsist. I also know those can be place even upside down, if you for some reason need to do that.
