My 91 EB four DR has a problem, when driving the emergency brake light comes on sometimes.
I can't tell a difference in the braking I would just like to know if something is truly wrong.

Just a shot but you may check your parking brake light switch behind the lever. It may be loose or out of adjustment. I was thinking from my model, it only has one brake light and it is not necessarily the E brake. I would also check the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir. It may be low and cause the light to go off and on.

What do Playboy and National Geographic have in common? Just a couple of the places I will never get to visit :(

IRA hit it on the head. You may also want to pull your wheels/drums and check the amount of brake material left. Another option is to bleed the system at each wheel. Per Chilton

Vehicles with 4 wheel antilock brakes require an AntiLockBrake Adaptor (T90P-50-ALA) and Jumper (T93T-50-ALA) in order to bleed the Master Cylinder and Hydraulic Control Unit. Failure to do so will trap air in the HCU, eventually causing a spongy pedal. The tools required are NOT REQUIRED for caliper or wheel cylinder bleeding procedures.

For the bleeding, sequence is:
R Rear
L Rear
R Front
L Front

I'd definately check your brake fluid level. That's one thing that the emergancy brake light comes on for. I had it happen in my 94 and I didn't catch it in time. We ended up having to bleed my brakes thru the calipers and tightening all the fittings on the brakes. One of the fittings came loose from when I had the lift installed... Needless to say somebody got fired... Just my two cents.

As for the E-brake light I disconected the plug from the resevoir and cleaned it and pluged it back in.I also checked the fluid it was full however it appears to be a dark dirty looking color. My brake pads are fine,I did notice that the booster looks alittle moist were it bolts to the cab but I check the fluid freqently and it is seldome low.
looking for idea's,thanks for the replies though.
