When i set up the gas hard..like slam on the gas..the emergency light goes on and off and it makes the beeping noise as if they brake is on.
Also when braking hard it does it.
What could it be?

low brake fuild

I'll second that. Same thing - everytime i punched it at a light the brake light would flash and go out in a split second, I just added a little more to the resevor and it hasn't done it since.

The red brake light only comes on if the brake fluid is low, or the emergency brake is on. Your description sounds like low brake fluid as the fluid is basically sloshing around in the brake fluid reservoir and when you brake hard or accelerate hard the fluid runs to the front or rear (respectively) and if you don't have enough fluid the low fluid sensor gets exposed and triggers the brake light.

Otherwise it could be a faulty e-brake switch on the back of the emergency brake peddle. But a faulty e-brake switch would be more erratic coming on when you hit bumps, not just when braking.

thanks
i do believe it low brake fluid b/c while cornering it does the same thing...now how is it possible for it to loss brake fluid? the truck has no leaks at all.

As your pads wear down the fluid has to make of the difference so the fluid is in the caliper. If you added it through the years then change your pads and forget to siphon a little extra out, when the new pads go on the reservoir will over flow, and you gotta clean it up . .

oh ok so that explains it...my pads are low..just waiting on my tax return to get drilled and slotted rotors :D
I've had this truck for 6 months now so the most i've done maintenance wise is oil changes.
I really need to start doing other things to it.
