Hello again, I know I keep asking and asking and not giving in return.. Give me time, I'll be able to contribute, I swear! :)

Anyways, I live in Virginia, we do emissions testing (BOOOOOO) here every 2 years. I just bought a 1996 Explorer with the 4.0 V6, OHD I believe. I've fixed a few bugs already in it. First off, the batt was dead and had to charge it so I can get it home. The batt is now holding charge but threw a code:

p1151 Lack of switching Bank 2 sens 1
-I replaced all 3 sensors, did a plug, unplug method in the batt to reset the PCM, the MIL went away, never came back.

I went to have my emmissions done, 4 IM readiness INC's so I was turned around and told to "drive 60 miles"

I did a tuneup and oil change with some probs in between there (Long Story).. But anyway I'm back to no MIL, truck is running great. MPG is at 12 to 14 range, and I still have 3 IM readiness INC's. They are "Catalyst, Heated o2 sensors, O2 sensors. I have put roughly 100 miles since the reset. I have followed the "drive cycle" procedure, still I am showing inc's on the same 3. What gives?

Does anyone have a table of what KOER data parameters, or at least normal readings are supposed to be.

I noticed that my guage on the cluster, the engine temp needle is just a hair past the first hash mark, the reader/scanner shows the ECT @ 170~190 while on idle, this is when I've been idle for 15 mins.

It's starting to get very very expensive troubleshooting this truck, all these idling and testdrives is costing a fortune on gas. I'm going to replace my Tstat tonight with a 190/200 deg, and see what happens.

Any help is apreciated, my registration runs out this month, I cannot renew till I get it to pass.

The stock thermostat should be 195*. As far as im readiness, they should be complete after 100 miles.

That's what I gathered on the net. THe first time I went thru and was told to come back, I put at least 220 miles on it (tank and a half). Now I've got 140 Miles on it, I was going to replace the tstat, but it snowed yesterday....

UPDATE:

Problem solved, at least 1/2 of it. I replaced the Tstat today, made by stant, 195 deg. Replaced the rubber gasket also. Pretty hard burping it on the refill but otherwise it only took 30 Mins to replace. I used a 10mm socket, 4", 2 - 6" xtensions, and an extension with a u-joint, I removed the TB shield, left the belt on. Anyhew, temp is now normal, I barely put in 20 miles since I replaced it, long enough to drive to advanced auto, I borrow their scanner and my IM readiness is now down to 2 not ready. EVAP and Catayst. My temp is steady @ 190 on idle, after it's good and warm. Based on my digging, the EVAP is done with a drive cycle on a full tank, and the CATALyst is with a 100 mile drive. Thanks for the help guys, brooklyn your useful threads are very useful. The collective knowledge in this site is amazing.

FINAL UPDATE

I drove the truck 120 miles on a full tank. I stopped at the parts store for the scanner, everything is OK on my IM readiness, so I promptly went to get it tested for emission. Apparently, the tests will not cycle thru if the engine is not warmed up, I was hitting peak at 178 deg before I replaced the tstat. When I start driving though, the temp drops and the O2 sens and Heated O2 sens tests cannot trigger because the PCM is thinking that the engine is still cold. Thank you guys for the help.
