Ok here is the big question of the day. Once i know this then it will be alot easier to understand how to tune my engine myself.

What do the injectors interface with to tell them how much and how often to inject fuel?

What does the MAS interface with or have to be calibrated to, to let the engine run right?

Throttlebody?

Fuel pump?

FPR?

If someone could tell me how they interface with the other parts of the engine and for what reason then that would be great.

I would figure the central computer (or chip) would take care of alot if not all of this. But is it as simple as just burning a chip with all these odd parts into the program and then just install and drive away with no little screw or anything here or there to calibrate, adjust or finetune? Maybe i am too used to the older engines but i am sure trying hard to learn.

Mass air and injectors need to match. It's easiest to buy a pro-m with the calibration you need. Fuel you'll need a 190lph pump

rocket, you basically have the jist of it. all of this stuff interacts and is controlled by the computer. usually, actuall fine tuning is done on the dyno, and chip is re-burned there. on a side note, there is a company out now (cant remember who) that has a calibrator module that wires inline with the MAS. your MAS (either stock or aftermarket) will be calibrated to run with one injector size only. this little doohickey allows calibration changes for different injector sizes. for around $80, you can have a completely adjustable MAS that will run with any injector.

also, if you ever have any questions about 5 liter stuff, i strongly suggest you check out www.50tech.com
it is a forum for any question related to 5 liter. it was designed as a newbie helper, and you will not get flamed no matter how dumb the question may be. check it out.:)

every thing you are getting should be calibrated correctly for all the parts you are getting. you should not have to tune any thing at all.

Awesome!!!

Thanks Dan. That was what i was thinking. But i was checking to make sure. Plus also it doesnt hurt to learn a little in te process. Just to reiterate i plan on getting back the 26th of this month or so after my exercise going on. So as soon as i can contact you we can set something up so i can get the parts from ya. Man this supercharger has been sitting on my desk for the past week, and it has just been burning me up because i want to install it so bad. I am almost so ready to put it in that i am thinking of excuses to come down to Miami to pick up the parts and........of course look at Troll while i am there too. Lol. Either way i will call ya when i get back. Well take it easy and i wont be on the board for a few weeks people, so have fun, (i know i will be, hehe) Robert

no problem just let me know when you are ready.
