Engine / ATF Question

I've heard on some post that ATF fluid can be added to the gas and oil as a detergent, will synthetic ATF be the stuff to use? Any info on the subject would be appreciated

Standard Dextron III (non-synthetic} is what you want to use. You only want to run about 1/2 quart to a full tank of gas. Pour the ATF in before you add gas that way they will mix as the fuel is being added.
