Hi Everyone, I must ask about my Explorer problem, there is a chirping coming from the engine( 4.0 v6) it is not anything from the front of the engine because I removed the belt and started it and same chirping . it will get faster as you rev it up. it will stop , then start again at random. Has anyone had this happen before? Thanks
Search idle air control (IAC) valve. I had a 98 ranger and chased the chirping for years. Even mechanics could not figure it out. Changed the IAC and no more noise.
