Has anyone had this issue? I have to add engine coolant every 3 days, it goes below the min line.
Last week reservoir was totally empty I was losing heat inside the suv

Have you checked the oil on the dipstick? It could be that the water pump is shot and the coolant is leaking into the engine.

Check your oil as soon as possible as like the other guy Peter said, the pump is probably shot as it is the only bad thing about the explorers.

Found my issue, my heating system was leaking somewhere.. I recall smelling antifreeze few times inside the car. Anyways I bought that little blue can of coolant sealant for 12 bucks at autozone, poured it into coolant area and coolant levels never dropped again, been few weeks now, must have sealed the leak somewhere!!
