engine dieing

I have a 94 xlt with the v6 its started this neat little trick About every couple of weeks or so I will be driving down the street and the engine will just die. I have to coast to the side of the road and what about 3 minutes and the engine will start and run fine. any ideas?????

Do any guages look funny before this happens? You should see if there are any trouble codes stored in the computer.

Have you replaced the fuel filter latelty? My buddy had this happen with his X. He also had to replace the fuel pump because of the extra stress from the clogged filter.

Also make sure you don't have any products manufactered by Superchip! I had one of their chips and it caused the same problem that you're having. Really screwed me over when it went out. Zero sympathy from Superchip. Those *******s sure are lame at that company.

Check the fuel pump relay in the black box under the hood too!
