I have a 91 EB. I am looking into a cat back system for it. Maybe Dyno Tech. Also wanting to put in the KKM filter system with the hi flow Mass Air Flow Sensor and a new 66mm throttle body. Has anyone done these mods?? If so, what kind of respose have you had? Performance? Towing ability? Gas Mileage? etc.? I would really like to know if I will waste my 1,000 dollars, or if some of these mods can be left out B/C they don't make any difference.

Any help apprecieated

Andy

i have the kkm, flowmaster cat back with dual pipes, and 8.8 accel plug wires with bosch 4+ platinum plugs. i would not get the accel 8.8 wires as they suck and i wouldnt get the 4+ either. i would get a high quality 8mm wire and a high quality single prong plat plug. i get about the same mileage as i tend to stomp the gas because of the smooth rich low loud rumble with the exhause but when im drving liek i should i get better mileage than stock with kkm and exhaust.

welcom to the site. if you do a search you will find a thousand threads on these subjects.

Well, I just ordered my new KKN filtercharger and Flowmaster Cat Back system. The cat back is from www.summitracing.com. They seem to have the best price/shipping that I have found. It was $158.95. I should have all of the stuff by Friday. Hopefully I get the response I need from the mods. (horsepower/mileage). I'm only expecting 10hp and maybe 1-3mpg more than stock. Anything more than stock is better. Any comments on my mods (good or bad) are appreciated. I love to hear what other people think. The flowmaster is a Force II system.

Thanks

i think 10 hp is probably about it.... by the time it gets to the wheels it is like 2-3 hp..... but you will notice a difference....

go for the superchip or diablo chip. i have yet to get one myself but i can speak for the performance of a superchip in a mustang. you probably wont see too much as far as mileage but horse power gains will be noticeable. ive seen on this site that someone has gotten 22 horses from the chip. this is on my future list.

Got the KKM, 66MM TB, and Flowmaster muffler/bigger pipe. The 70MM granatelli is on order. Got Bosch Plats, and there is definitely a noticeable difference, but it's still not going to make an enviable kill list. Enjoy these mods though. I need to replace the wires, but I keep hearing mixed reviews on good wires vs. anything from AutoZone.
The Diablo chip....now that's gonna help a ton!

Just put on my KKM true rev sport induction kit, and my 50 series Flowmaster Force II cat back system. I can't beleive the difference. It sounds AWESOME!! I feel a little extra kick in the pants at WOT. I love it. I'm burnin' through the gas though, b/c I love to hear her growl. These are awesome mods, and I would recommend them to anyone. Love it.
