I don't know if this is something to be concerned with...
I recently had my steering gear box replaced due to a major power steering fluid leak. Possibly unrelated, but now when I start my vehicle it immediately revs to approx 3K-4K RPM and stays there for about a second then drops to normal idle. Before the repair, it would start and immediately idle at normal RPM (approx 2K-2.5K). Is this something I should be concerned with?
