My engine light has been on for sometime now. Finally, just had my 95 Limited 60k maintenance tune-up and asked that they check the code for the check engine light. They stated that the code came back as the EGR and after checking it the EGR, said it was fine. They recommended that if the light comes back on (which it did as soon as I drove away) to replace the EGR.
My question is, what is the EGR and what do I need to buy to replace it? Is it simple? When looking at carparts.com, the following 3 things came up for EGR:
EGR VALVE
EGR VALVE GASKET
SENSOR, EGR VALVE POSITION
Do I need to replace all of these?
