I put a replacement (used) engine in my 97. Its a 4.0 OHV 2wd and 5 speed. Heres the problem. It runs out OK below 3000 RPM but then craps out and backfires and cross fires on some cylinders. I do have some codes.
P0446, P0141 and P1400. I know what the codes are after some searching but would take some suggestions on where to start looking on the Evap Code and why I might be seeing a code for the O2 sensor heater. I noticed a drop in milage compared to my previous engine. Went from about 20 to 18. It has low power when in higher gears. You do notice a slight miss. Depending on where you look online the evap issue can trigger the code for the flow sensor. Any ideas would be great. Thanks. Dale
