Hello guys,

I have a problem with the car. At idle speed, it seems to be missfiring, but it's not actually misfiring. I changed the spark plugs, the spark plug wires, filters, cleaned the MAF, i have no error codes regarding the engine. I took it to a ford dealer and they said the only thing they can see is that the fuel pump pressure is very colse to the low limit (they had kind of installation metter like in windows and that thing turned red from time to time). They also checked the injectors and said everything is ok. The engine acts like for half a second it doesn't get fuel but never dies, even the RPM doesn't significantly change, but you can feel this thing and you can hear the engine like dropping for a frame...

You think changing the fuel pump may solve the situation?

trying changing the fuel filter first.

I said in the article that i already changed the fuel filter. :(

Maybe you have a vacuum leak? Did the dealer look for that?
