I have a 2001 sport with 60k on clock over the last week I have been noticing a noise coming from the top of motor on acceleration but only when the motor is cold.say for like the first 5 mins then it is gone. it is not like a knock but more like a ping but not completely.
could this be related to the cam I thought I came across some post about a service bulletin for a cam tensioner.
how could I find out if my truck is one of the years affected by thic condition and if so would ford pay for the repair. thanx for any input
