I got a 93 X and I'm getting it repainted soon.. and I was thinkin o rebuilding the engine.. I've rebuilt motorcycle engine and other small engines too.. and I'm pretty sure I could tackle this.. how much would it cost just to rebuild it to stock again? if I did the labor, how much would it cost to get it done.. if I took the engine out.. also.. are there any good aftermarket parts... that'll gimmie maybe 200hp? also.. anyone know anything about turboin this F UCKER?
lemme know

They can help you get the right parts. You will need to build the motor up a bit - then add a blower. Your total cost with you doing the labor will come in around 4000-4500 with the blower.

Well I can tell you this, If you’re looking for top HP per dollar, forget about turbocharging. It is very expensive. Very very expensive. Not to mention that there are no off the shelf kits available. Everything would have to be custom fabricated. Although turbochargers are more reliable, efficient and arguably, produce more power, hey are not for the amateurs. Not to say you’re an amateur with motors, your obviously not. It’s just that they get very complicated.

Assuming money wasn’t a major concern of yours (you would be my idol) and you wanted to build a reliable high output motor, I would say 450 HP is not unattainable. Of course this would require a complete rebuild and forced induction of some verity. I would stay away from Nitro. More motors have been ruined due to improper nitro use then you can shake a stick at. But if your hell bent on using nitro, look into the Venom programmable system. Cost about $1200 but is about the safest system out there.
