Hey guys, as many of you know i just finsihed my head swap. Well...its been running a LITTLE on the rough side... I wasnt sure if it was the new heads causing it or what... anyways... i just had it in and had some AC work done... they replaces some really expensive hose or something.. anyways...now I run REALLY rough. The more I accellerate the rougher it gets. when I lay off the gas it mostly goes away. It also seems to have lost some power... whats going on? I just took a peek under the hood and everything seems to be in order.... hmmm

Mine did that.....I couldn't figure it out. Then one day, it got really bad and wouldn't run over 50 mph. I assumed that I had blown a head gasket, but I had cooked through two plug wires. If you just changed heads, you may have screwed up a gasket. The other thing that comes to mind is the ignition not firing on all plugs, or a bad wire. GOOD LUCK!

is the firing order correct??? I'm with dwclark in saying that it might be a spark plug or wire.

It turned out to be a busted lifter! Brand new lifter too. oh well.
