Engine Shake

So I bought this car in 15. it is a 98 Eddie Bauer. When in neutral or park its fine. Even in high idle its fine. When I put it into drive and it drops to low idle speed, the whole thing starts shaking like a cylinder is dropping out or there is a miss. But as soon as I put the gas on it, or it sits in high idle, its fine. Any idea what might be causing this?

Check for a vacuum leak.

Any Check Engine Light or OBDII trouble codes set? What is your idle RPM in park, and in drive when it happens? What is the mileage and what maintenance has been done to it recently?

If it's (probably?) due for plugs and wires, definitely change those, but I'm wondering if you have a dirty IAC, idle air control valve.
