ENGINE SWAP!!!!

hey guys! i heard our 5.0 V8 engines are the same as the mustang GT's? and if they are.. do u think we could fit a saleen engine in there?

Well that depends on what year mustang, older ones have 5.0s, newer ones have 4.6s I believe, and the Cobra R has a 5.4. I think you are probably better off modding your motor than trying some fancy swap.
I doubt that Saleen does much to their motors other than things you could do to your own. If you are really serious about it, replace the cam, add a supercharger and you wont feel the need for a Saleen motor. I dont think you would want to swap in an older 5.0 from a stang to replace your newer 5.0.
I am no expert, just stating my opinion here.

Yup, you already have a great V8 in there. Mod the motor you have. The sky's the limit with the 5.0 you have. You could just do minor mods like intake, exhaust, and the computer. You could do a cam swap. You could add a supercharger. You could bore and stroke it to 331 or 347 c.i.

I suggest you do some research as to what's available for your motor.
