Engine temp go's up

I noticed today that when i am stop the temp gauge go up to about to the (M) in normal on the temp gauge and seems to stay there not get any higher then when i give gas it gose back to the (N) in normal.Even if i am sitting and just rev the engine it gose back down i have the A/C on at the time is this normal or is my fan clucth going out:(

I wish I had an A/C problem in January....must be nice.

My 91 does the same thing....I would make sure the coolant level is ok.

Thanks i am going to look at it tommoro and change the oil and filter.:D
 






Grab the fan and try to move it from side to side. If it has some play, the fan clutch is going out. You may want to also change the thermostat as it may be sticking. If all these things don't help, install an aftermarket guage to make sure that its not just your guage shorting out.
 






Checked coolant level lately..... in the rad -not the reservoir...
 






Well i drove it today with the A/C off and it did not go up at all so maybe it's normal when running the A/C.

Replace the rad cap. Verify the pressure rating of the new one. Cheap and easy.
