have you tried running a different weight oil?

i have no thought about

that has never crossed my mind what weight would you recommend running?

They run well on 10w30 and 10w40. How many miles are on the engine? Does it leak a lot of oil? Where do you live? How do you drive? What do you use it for? All these thing factor in on which weight to use

Is it coming from one side of the engine compartment? Does it do it only when the car is under load? The 5.0's are notorious for exhaust leaks from the passenger side manifold as they do tend to crack and the gaskets detoriate with age and flake away. I have to do this on mine currently.
