Engine trouble

Having some trouble with my engine riding a 1992 explorer xlt. When I accelerate the car doesn't handle like it should plus I have no power above 2000 rpm. Feels like dirt in the tank or a dirty fuelfilter. I have just purchased this car and Im greatful for all suggestions..

That truck isn't the fastest cheese box in the world to start off with. But, it may need a tune up.

you know I figuerd out what happened was the silicone sitting around the fuel pump was dripping into the tank and plugged the fuel pump.. I changed the fuel pump and got the stock clipp sitting around the fuel pump.. Now it works excellent again.. changed the fuel filter also.
