Engine Vibration

Hi, I have done some searching and found alot of problems related to Vibration, but not sure there exactly what i have, This is for my 1994X , When in park or Neutral and i rev engine up to aprox 2500rpms there is ALOT of engine vibrations can hear it and feel it, my 1992 does not have this at all.. possibly flex plate going?

most likely it is the harmonic balancer has sliped on the rubber ring it hapens at times the rubber shrinks with age

I just picked up a 93 X that has the same thing. at exactly 2500 RPM the engine vibrates alot, and on either side of 2500rpm its fine. So it might be time for a new harmonic balancer huh?

check your motor mounts. my 94 X is doing the same thing. my father in law looked at it the other day (he has a small dealership and works on mostly ford trucks) and said that they were shot which is causing the vibration that i'm getting. we're going to change them this weekend, i'll let you know if it fixed the problem
