- 2-1999 Eddie Bauer, 97 XL
For my 1999 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, 5r55E, 4x4.
I just bought an EPC solenoid from a reputable seller on Ebay, but when it arrived the Ford part number had been ground off. They explained Bosch has a contract agreement with Ford that if they sell these to another vendor they must grind off the Ford part number. Does anyone know what the Bosch manufacturer date might be and their part number? I have "Germany" at the top on the black plastic, then "0 260 130 019" underneath, and just to the right one line down of that number "084" in an oval. On the left side (plug contacts pointing down) the numbers "00608" which I believe to be the manufacture date.
They claim it was made this year in May.
Can any of you ford tranny guru's help?
Thanks.
Love the stickys. I assume it's to keep or help everyone from getting into or out of a "sticky" situation...
