It's been doing this for about 2 months now. Starting it up after it's been sitting for a few hours it idles fine, and if I leave right away I have no problems. But if I shut it off for a few minutes then fire it back up again it will start, rev to about 1500, then die if I don't catch it with the gas pedal. If I do catch it then it will fluctuate from 500 to 1500. But as soon as I put it in gear, any gear, it smartens up and sits just under 1000 rpm.

It drives just fine, it's never hinted that it might stall at a stop sign or light, and cruising is no problem. I've searched this a bit here and mainly came up with an IAC somethingorother, but those were all SOHC threads, so I'm not sure if it applies.

Cool, thanks. I'll giv'er a shot of electrical contact cleaner and see what happens.
