Error code help

So I have the V6 99 mounty I was using torque pro and it's giving me a $53 $07 indicating a misfire in cylinder 7. Problem is it is a V6 so it only has six cylinders...What could cause this, It is running rough but I thought that was from the 41 11 in $06 mode I was getting and am going to clean the EGR valve and see if it is bad if so replace it but I'm still curious as to how it could misfire in a cylinder it does not have.

Switch to mode 3 data on the scan tool then see what code it's generating.

nothing comes up in standard mode but its idling rough which is why i used $06 mode, so the 41 11 is valid info was just curious about the other

You could unplug one fuel injector at a time to see if it makes no difference (problem cylinder) or gets worse (not problem).

Then ( or without doing so, then all) pull the spark plug to examine and do a compression or leak down test. I assume you are not losing coolant and none is mixing into the oil.
