Query! 2004 4Litre flexfuel 121000miles. Could a Evaporative Emission Control System not responding to a scanning have anything to do with p0172 and P0175 codes (both banks too rich) that keep popping up every so often? All is good right now but for the EV system not completing it test for over 2 weeks now. Then all at once the codes pop up either pending or active. That occurs for about a 1 week period then goes away again for a while. And I swear the codes only pop up at or around an idle situation usually after a start up. My event timing may be off some as I can't even remember what day it is sometimes. Any ideas and/or how to remedy things? Passed emissions test in April no problem.
