Hello, I have the good fortune to own a 2002 explorer with a 4.6 engine. It is displaying P0433, P0455 And P0457. I can't find the wiring or vacuum hose diagrams online. Can anyone please forward them to me? The first two are evap codes and the third is a fuel cap code. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide. Craig

First thing you should do is remove the gas gap, put some gas on its gasket and put it back on. Making sure it clicks at least 3 times.

Or, purchase a new gas cap.

Do one or the other, clear the code and see if it comes back. If it does, then pursue other options.

Thanks Number4. I made a mistake on the first code. It is P0443. I would like to get the section of the shop manual that speaks about the evaporative emission controls. i would like to check the wiring, electrical and vacuum/pressure components.

Fuel filler necks rust out system looses pressure. Good place to start.
