If the army ever wants a new tank, I'd recomend the Ford Explorer.
My cousin had a 91 four door. She was driving down a gravel road when someone blew a stop sign and ended up unavoidably in her path. She slammed in to him going 40. The other guy was driving a saturn wagon. The whole passenger side (the side of impact) was smashed all the way to the drivers seat. The cops said that if any one had been on that side they would have been killed instantly. The car was hauled off in several pieces. As for my cousins Explorer, it had a cracked grill, dinged bumper, and slightly bent fender. Thankfully no one was hurt. The sad thing was that the insurance company totaled my cousins X because it had like 200,000 miles on it and was rusting and wasn't deemed worth enough to replace the fender, bumper, and grille.
