exaust

i am wanting to get ride of my broken stock exaust and put on a custom dual system. i think i will do it myself to keep the cost down. im just wondering what people have(other than stock) or what they think would be good.

here's what im thinkin.

(stock) 2 pipes coming off the headers into muffler and one pipe out. make it so its 2 from headers, muffler, and 2 pipes out the mufler. on that note i have narrowed it down to flowmaster thrush or cherry bomb...i want it kinda loud but to rumble like.... and have the crome tips out each side behind the rear wheels..... what u boys think?:thumbdwn:

what engine? The general consensus is a single 2.5" tail pipe for a 5.0 provides the best torque and driveability.

i was thinking of doing this and thought if there was any benifit of starting the dual exit straight from the headers to the rear? (engine> ==== <exhaust)
